With 20+ years of experience in the design industry, my career started when digital was still shiny and new, and the more effects you could apply to a button was a direct indication of you seniority. Like rings on a tree, so have I seen this industry grow and evolve through time.

Coming from a background in brand and physical design, through the age of digital web and intranets and into the ages of UX and mobile first design, my skill set has grown in line with industry momentum.

I have been lucky enough to work with some great companies and great leaders in my time (most of which were not designers) who were able to show me the true value in collaboration and an empathetic approach to solving problems.

While I strive to continuously develop my hard and soft skills, my passion is in enabling those around me. Whether that be our customers trying to achieve an outcome, a stakeholder driving a business outcome, or a peer contributing their own experiences to shape our shared outcome, design is about much more than just us designers.
